World Mission Initiative at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary

WMI is a fellowship of Presbyterians dedicated to developing mission vision, nurturing missionary vocations, and cultivating missional congregations by helping Christians understand how God is at work in the world and how they can share in that work. We offer resources to serve congregations and students.

The 8th biennial World Mission Initiative Mission Conference held at the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary on March 23-24 challenged, encouraged, exhorted and equipped participants to explore how we the church can remain relevant in a changing world.

The Perspectives course, which is typically taught over 15 weekly sessions, will be intensely packaged in 7 days for pastors, missionaries, and students.  Instructors will include Dr. Ken Bailey, Dr. Edith Humphrey, and 10 other guest missionaries and professors.  The summer 2012 Leaders' Intensive Perspectives will be held August 12-18, 2012 at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.

There are various ways to stay connected to WMI and we encourage you to do so! Friend us on Facebook, signup for our newsletter, or send us an e-mail with your mission-related question.
